Almost as if they are trying to create a fear of missing out scenario amongst it's customer base.
This would be bad enough but the game has the skins you can buy on a rotation, meaning if the skin isn't for sale at the moment you can't purchase it. You can buy time crystals with real money to purchase cosmetics and skins. And if anything i'd say these are pretty bad compared to other games. Microtransactions: Now I don't know what some people are so obsessed with defending but yes this game has microtransactions. While it has some balance issues i'd say it's great to see another fighting game focusing more on neutral instead of endless combos. The villains look pretty generic and boring but besides that the plot is fun and engaging with a meh ending. Seems like they got good writers this time around. The plot is actually pretty good this time, while I hated X's plot 11's is pretty good. Like hitman 2016 I spend my time looking at the wasted potential. This game is very good, it's just bogged with bullshit stopping it from being great.
If I could sum up mortal kombat 11 in one sentence it would be this: A good game despite itself. So I usually try to post these in the game in questions subreddit, however as of late I noticed some subreddits shadowban my review.
